Professional Experience

Yuosre Badir joined the School of Management, AIT, as Assistant Professor, in September 2008. Prior to coming to AIT, he was Post-doctoral Fellow at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Research Associate at the College of Management of Technology at EPFL, Visiting Scholar at New York University, Lecturer at the European University in Geneva, and Research Assistant at UPM. He also was consultant for various high-tech startups in Switzerland.

Research Interests

Yuosre Badir’s research and teaching interests include Innovation & New Product Development, Strategic Management, Technological Projects Management, Organization Theory and Design, and Hybrid Management. He has published his research in the Research Policy, International Journal of Technology Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, Project Management Journal and several other journals. He has also presented his research in several international conferences including the Academy of Management (AOM), Strategic Management Society (SMS), IEEE Engineering Management, International Associate of Management of Technology (IAMOT), and PICMET. Yuosre Badir has also co-guest edited several special issues of international journals on innovation and new product development across networks of strategic partners and hybrid innovation management.
